Tagline Theatre is a Birmingham based theatre company, specialising in animating spaces.
The company is run by current third year Stage Management students at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and the team changes every year.
Each year a new project is created, with a focus on putting audiences first, and engaging audiences by animating a space that may not be normally visited or as widely as accessible for the public.
We are not just a theatre company, we strive to bring in new audiences and change conventional theatre to make it fun for audiences who might not normally be engaged with the theatre industry.
Tagline Theatre is supported by Little Earthquake, a company that make exciting, inclusive, high quality theatre for a wide range of audiences in a wide range of locations. Projects marry striking visual images, evocative sound, crafted text, and engaging performances.
Little Earthquake love making work through a collaborative process in which they gather interesting people around a central idea to see what happens.
All current company members are Third Year Stage Management students at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and running Tagline Theatre is part of a module during the year.
The BA (Hons) Stage Management degree provides in-depth, practical training; aiming to produce confident graduates who are ready for a successful career in the industry as soon as they leave. Gaining authentic industry experience while developing the vital skills needed in each role of a stage management team.
