Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Third Year Stage Management Students Present ‘…Until Proven Guilty’
…Until Proven Guilty is an immersive jail experience, where you, the audience member, will become one of six suspects of a recent murder.
It is your job to decide which of you is the murderer and why, using evidence found and given to you. Use your recreation time wisely, watch out for corrupt guards, and remember not everything is always as it seems…
Please note, during the experience you may be in a cell by yourself, but it will always be light. Please read additional safety guidelines before booking.
This immersive event is free of charge.
There is a maximum audience number of 6 people per experience. You may book in groups up to 6 for each experience.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
We recommend that under 16’s are accompained by an adult.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We recommend using public transport, however there are car parks around Birmingham City Centre that require additional payment, further details can be found online on the Birmingham City Council website. Birmingham New Street Station, Moor Street Station & Snow Hill Station are in close proximity, the closest of which being Snow Hill Station.
What can I bring into the event?
Please try and refrain from bringing lots of personal belongings, as we have limited storage facilities. Phones will need to be switched off during the experience. Anything you do bring you must be prepared to leave with our front of house staff, while the experience is taking part. Be prepared to be immersed into the experience!

Health and Safety:
– Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
– Due to the nature and age of the facility there is currently no access for mobility
impaired guests due to the large amounts of steps and lack of a disability access.
– The story within the experience contains themes of an adult nature.
– You are advised to wear suitable and comfortable footwear (e.g. no stiletto heels)
as there are three floors to view and some of the landings have small holes which could trap heels. For this reason short skirts are not advised due to the grilled floors and winding staircases.
– Special effects may be used within the experience: strobe lighting, loud sound effects and audio visual effects.
– Photographs and video will be taken during these events which could be used as publicity material in the future and may therefore be published on social media.
…Until Proven Guilty is a free ticketed event, all tickets are sold subject to availability. Please read the following booking guidelines prior to booking tickets and any queries should be raised with Tagline Theatre prior to booking.
For security reasons a bag search may be required prior to entry.
A valid ticket must be produced to gain entry into the event. All tickets are free to book, and therefore you may not sell a ticket for commercial gain. If for any reason a ticket holder cannot attend please contact Tagline Theatre who may be able to re-issue the ticket to another member of the public. Any ticket obtained in breach of these booking guidelines may be voided by Tagline Theatre. Booking tickets are restricted to a maximum number at time of booking, we reserve the right to cancel tickets purchased in excess of this maximum booking amount.
Tagline Theatre and the venue will not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to items brought with you into the experience. Smoking is not permitted within the venue, and alcohol may not be consumed whilst on the premises. Animals (except guide dogs) are not permitted inside the venue or experience. Any item which may be interpreted as a potential weapon including sharp or pointed objects are not permitted to be in your possession in the venue. The obstruction of access-ways, exits, entrances or staircases is strictly forbidden due to health and safety policies.
Ticket holders must comply with all relevant safety announcements and venue regulations whilst attending the experience. If ticket holders have any special requirements or concerns about any special effects that may be featured in the experience, prior notice shall be given at time of booking. Special effects may include, without limitation, sound effects, audio visual effects, pyrotechnic effects or lighting effects including strobe lighting.
